    Founded in 1974 as an independent school with a focus on traditional Catholic education, The Willows Academy offers an all-honors, college preparatory curriculum for girls in grades 6 through 12. There are many hallmarks of a Willows education. Willows girls traditionally are formed in solid character values and academic excellence. Academically, students complete seven years in each of the core subjects: English, mathematics, science, history, foreign language, and Theology. In addition to academic subjects, students pursue yearly requirements in the fine arts, technology, and physical education. Outside of the classroom, we encourage each and every one of our students to participate in our athletic program, theatrical productions, and clubs by eliminating 'cuts' from tryouts and auditions for nearly all activities. Our one on one mentoring program affords students the support they need as they grow during their middle and high school years. Each and every student is known by her teachers, her mentor, and her peers. In the end, a Willows graduate is a mature, well rounded young lady who has developed her academic, athletic, and artistic talents to the fullest and is ready to take on the world.
