The Lycee Francais de Chicago follows the French National curriculum directed by the French Ministry of Education. Our curriculum prepares students for the high school French Baccalaureate examination, as well as the IB high school diploma program. From Pre-K to grade 8, the children are immersed in the French language and all subjects are taught in French and are supplemented by English classes. In grades 9-12, students may either follow the French Baccalaureate program or integrate the IB program, which is taught in English.
