Cristo Rey is a Jesuit Catholic, coed, dual language high school located in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. Our mission is to provide a Catholic option to students who otherwise couldn't afford a Catholic high school. We do this through our unique work study model, the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).

Cristo Rey students receive a rigorous college prep education. Our students also take two classes every year completely in Spanish. This ensures that our students are completely proficient in both English and Spanish upon graduation. Cristo Rey is guided by the Jesuit principal of “cura personalis” (care for the whole person). Our focus is on educating the whole person: mentally, physically, and spiritually. CWSP adds another dimension to cura personalis by providing our students with corporate work experience while still in high school
