  • You are way better off finding the home you are looking for in your price range/already built. We struggled to even find an architect for a Reno. Most were too busy to even talk to us.    This one is bigger, but a cabin feel, close to the beach and seems really nice   https://www.redfin.com/MI/New-Buffalo/214-Water-Ct-49117/home/98247496
  • Thank you for this! I didn’t know about it
  • I would not let my 3-year old ride a scooter on busy streets. But I am a scaredy cat, always afraid for my kids. I live near a busy avenue and over the years,  I've seen many many cars blow the yellow/red lights and hit other cars and pedestrians of all ages. Even when your kid is being careful, others are not especially in busy areas.  Even my teen kids don't pay attention when crossing streets so I've told them to avoid the busy streets at all costs.

Neighborhood Parents Network connects a diverse community of families by providing support and resources designed to solve the challenges of parenting in Chicago.
