NPN Has a Group for That!

Are you looking to connect with other parents with whom you have something in common? We can help you find your niche.
Our calendar is filled with events. Parent-volunteers lead most of our groups and plan events for all types of families.
Here is a sample of their unique offerings:
Postpartum Discussion Group for Moms – An opportunity to meet other moms who are working through the same excitement and challenges as you. This group will facilitate discussions that will address postpartum issues in a non-judgmental environment. All postpartum moms are welcome, whether it is your first or your fifth!
Next Event: 5/16 @ Urban Brain & Body
Kids with Food Allergies – An NPN member family with a baby and a toddler with food allergies hosts this play date in their home. They do not have any pets and their playroom is free of all food. They keep an allergen-free home and welcome families to join them for an allergy-free play date.
Next Event: 5/28 Play Date @ Member’s home
Northwest Side Club – Especially for families in Old Irving Park, Portage Park, Jefferson Park, and beyond. We have a new volunteer and new energy and we are kicking off this new season with an old favorite. Meet your neighbor families and make new friends.
Next event: 5/29 play date @ Our Lady of Victory School
Multiples – This group is designed for parents of multiples – twins, triplets, and more. Socialize with other parents experiencing the joy of multiples.
New Moms Groups – An amazing and unique way to meet other new moms. NPN volunteers host these meetings in their homes, where you can feel comfortab
le. Don’t worry about nursing in public, heating up a bottle, or comforting an unhappy baby. Each group is limited to 8-10 members with babies between 2 and 5 months old. The groups meet for three consecutive weeks and lead to ongoing playgroups!
Developmental Differences – a place to support each other, ask questions, and share resources. Parents of kids with all different types of developmental differences are welcome to the parent support group nights and the play dates.
