NPN Connections

Sending children off to college is a primary goal for many parents. Will you be able to afford it?

Join NPN for a one-hour seminar on the ins and outs of 529 Plans and the importance of starting early as you save for your child’s college education. This event is sponsored by Bright Start College Savings, a 529 college savings program created and administered by the Illinois State Treasurer's office. Fernando Diaz, Director - College Savings at Illinois State Treasurer's Office, will give insight specific to Illinois residents on college savings, financial literacy, tax-advantaged ways to save and the value of starting a savings plan now.

The event is open to NPN members and non-members. The presentation will last 45 minutes and will allow for 15 minutes of Q & A.

Space is limited; light refreshments will be served.  Doors will open at 6:45pm, presentation will begin at 7:00pm.  You will receive an e-ticket to confirm your registration. Please be respectful of our presenter and sponsors and honor your RSVP.
