*EVENT FULL* CPS 101: Elementary School Options @ Leo Burnett · Apr 2, 2019

Chicago School Choice

For any parent wanting information about Chicago Public Schools! Join Neighborhood Parents Network for a CPS 101 seminar downtown at Leo Burnett!

What is a magnet school? What are selective enrollment schools? What’s the difference between a classical and gifted school? What schools require a test for entry? How do the lottery and waitlist systems work?

If you have questions like these, attend our "CPS 101" discussion.

Join Grace Lee Sawin, Chicago Schools GPS, as she shares information on different types of CPS schools (Montessori, classical, language, gifted, magnet, etc.), admission processes and application information, selective enrollment testing process, lottery/waitlists and more. (NOTE: This event covers elementary school programs beginning at kindergarten in great depth. We will also touch on CPS Tuition-Based Preschool & Chicago Early Learning! preschool programs.)

Open to NPN members; adults only, please RSVP by March 27. Space is limited; donuts and coffee will be provided. Doors will open at 9:00, presentation will begin at 9:30 am. You will receive an e-ticket to confirm your registration. Please be respectful of our presenters and sponsors and honor your RSVP.
