CPS 101: Elementary School Options @ Leo Burnett · Apr 9, 2018

Chicago School Choice

For any parent wanting information about Chicago Public Schools! Join Neighborhood Parents Network for a CPS 101 seminar downtown at Leo Burnett!

What is a magnet school? What are selective enrollment schools? What’s the difference between a classical and gifted school? What schools require a test for entry? How do the lottery and waitlist systems work?

If you have questions like these, attend our "CPS 101" lunch and discussion.

Join Didi Lewis, a Chicago Public School Office of Access & Enrollment community partner, as she shares information on different types of CPS schools (Montessori, classical, language, gifted, magnet, etc.), admission processes and application information, selective enrollment testing process, lottery/waitlists and more. (NOTE: This event covers elementary school programs beginning at kindergarten in great depth. We will also touch on CPS Tuition-Based Preschool & the Ready to Learn! preschool programs.)

Open to NPN members; adults only, please RSVP by April 4. Space is limited; lunch (pizza) will be served. Doors will open at 11:15am, presentation will begin at 111:30am. You will receive an e-ticket to confirm your registration. Please be resepectful of our presenters and sponsors and honor your RSVP.
