The Crown Family PlayLab at The Field Museum is hosting a private play time for NPN members and friends! Children with developmental differences and sensory processing needs and their families are welcome to attend!
Sensory Saturdays is a sensory-friendly morning of hands-on exploration and discovery. We understand that some children may have specific sensory processing needs in order to have a great museum experience. So, we are opening the doors of the Crown Family PlayLab one hour early, from 9-10am, to meet the needs of those NPN families and friends. Registration will be capped at 40 guests so that we can enjoy a crowd-free space. There will be tactile opportunities and sensory tools to help ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone. The Crown Family PlayLab is geared for young children, but you'll find many opportunities for children of all ages to learn through hands-on exploration and discovery.
Please be mindful that this event is designed for individuals with disabilities and sensory processing needs; siblings and family members are welcome to attend.
The free playdate includes general admission to the rest of the museum as well. Go here for more information.
