Christa joined NPN while expecting her son in 2011. She comes to us with a passion for connecting local families and trying new things. Born and raised a Chicagoan, she considers herself a “lifer” and loves taking her toddler to the zoo and exploring new parks in the area. With ten years of media experience, she holds a degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Television Production and recently earned her Master’s Degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.  She lives with her son, and husband in her dogs' East Lakeview home.

Here are some ideas if you’re looking for inspiration.

Learn: Toddler Takeover at the Chicago Children’s Museum. Big kids are back in school so it’s time for the little ones to get out and run the palace! Tons of fun programming for the ...

Local Organizations to Be Thankful For

The holidays are upon us and this time of year always makes me think about how fortunate I am....for really everything. I have a great job, a great family and a wonderful city that has welcomed me into it's tight-knit village of parents from all walks of life.  Of course, that reminds me of all of the less fortunate, particularly the families that live here and the organizations dedicated to helping them. If you're looking to donate, volunteer (with or without the kids) or support an organ...
