1. How many and which schools will be attending the fair?
Check out the School Fair Listing to see a complete and up-to-date exhibitor listing. We typically have between 90-100 exhibitors at the fair.
2. What is the cost of admission?
FREE. FREE. FREE. The School Fairs costs are funded from the membership fees and donations. As a member of NPN, you have access to this amazing limited access event at NO charge. To show your appreciation, consider donating to our Annual Fund.
3. Where do I get an admission ticket?
The NPN School Fair is only open to NPN members. You must RSVP online and receive an e-ticket confirmation to have your name on the list at the door. We recommend bringing a copy of your e-ticket to confirm your admission. RSVP online and get your e-ticket.
Members and non-members with no ticket will need to register at the fair. With hundreds of parents expected to attend, I would encourage you to get an e-ticket to avoid the long lines.
4. How many parents do you expect?
We are expecting nearly 1,000 parents at the School Fair.
5. Is there parking?
NPN Preschool and Elem Fair in the Horner Park (2741 W. Montrose Ave. ) - a parking lot is located off of California Ave. and street parking is also available. Please note, limited parking is available.
Public Transportation: we encourage you to go to the CTA Trip planning website and obtain bus/train routes to the fair.
6. May I bring my child?
To make the most of your experience and for the benefit of other parents at the school fair, we recommend you make this a parents only event. Due to the large number of attendees, children may not respond well to the crowds and the noise. No childcare is available.
7. Why are there businesses exhibitors?
We were able to secure a larger facility for this year's NPN Preschool and Elementary School Fair to allow businesses to showcase their product and services. Many of these businesses are NPN members and/or have shown their support by donating an item for the silent auction.
8. How can I purchase a copy of the the NPN School Directory?
As of fall of 2010, NPN is going green! You may access School Directory information online for FREE or you may purchase a School Directory eBook soon!
9. Should I RSVP?
Yes. You must RSVP to register for the school fair. This is a members only event. We recommend you bring your e-ticket confirmation with you to the event.
10. How can I help?
Tell all your friends about the fair; volunteer to help at the fair ; download and distribute flyers.
