From family-friendly street festivals to bare knuckle baseball, kid-sized fun abounds througout Chicago this weekend!

#1. Lincoln Park Art & Music Festival

  • Racine between Fullerton & Webster
  • Saturday & Sunday from 12-10pm.  Kids area 12-4pm
  • $5 suggested donation
  • All Age

Enjoy great music and the works of more than 80 juried artist.  Don't miss School of Rock on Saturday at noon and the dedicated kids area.

#2. Westfest

  • Chicago between Damen and Wood
  • Saturday & Sunday from 12-10pm
  • $5 suggested donation
  • All ages

Enjoy this two-day party featuring live music and a dedicated kids stage.

#3. Vintage Baseball Game

  • Naper Settlement
  • July 8th, 1-4pm
  • $12 adults, $8 children
  • All ages

Come relive the exciting and interesting history of the Grand Old Game and enjoy the fast-paced action of bare knuckle baseball based on the original rules from 1858. Visitors are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets. 

#4. Kids Workshop

  • Home Deopt - Chicagoland
  • July 7th, 9am-12pm
  • FREE
  • 5-12 years

FREE hands-on workshops offered the 1st Saturday of every month at all The Home Depot stores. Workshops teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a FREE Kids Workshop Apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

#5. Garfield Goats

  • Garfield Park Conservatory
  • July 8th, all day
  • FREE
  • All ages

The Conservatory is hosting Sani, Salvi, and Gracie, three local goats who are happy to help out by grazing on the prairie grass.
