Sarah joined NPN in 2007 and became Executive Director in 2009. She would not have survived her daughter's sleepless nights, endless spit up, & pacifier addiction without her New Moms Group.

Three new events were just added to our calendar for expectant, new and seasoned parents who live or work near the South Loop and Hyde Park Neighborhoods.  Connect with other families, discover new places to learn and play, and go home with must-have information for city parents.  Visit our NPN South Side Neighborhood Page for upcoming events.

Wed. Feb. 22 - 1:30-3:30pm, New Moms Mingle @ Park 52 Restaurant

New Moms Mingles are such a fun way to meet other new moms and to learn more about what NPN has to offer.  These events are ideal for moms of babies younger than 1 year old.  Find a new group of mommies to get together with as you deal with the ups and downs of adjusting to your little one's everyday changes.  We know what the first year is like as a new mom - let us help you get through it with more fun, connections, and support!  Open to new again, 2nd and 3rd time, mommies.  Join us at the Park 52 Restaurant for some afternoon treats and a raffle for some perfect new mom gifts!  RSVP today.

Tue. Feb. 28th - 7-9pm, Saving for College and Estate Planning @ Hyde Park Neighborhood Club

We know financial planning, college costs, and estate planning are topics that weigh heavily on the minds of new and growing families.  Let Hyde Park Parent Support Network and NPN help you take a big step forward, now matter where you are starting from!  If you're struggling with the concepts of wills and trusts, college planning, retirement planning and estate planning, this panel discussion is for you.  Join us at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club and listen to our expert panel from COUNTRY Financial and the Law Office of Jennifer Guimond-Quigley for help getting a handle on your family's financial security and future.  You'll be on your way to figuring things out for your own growing family!  RSVP today.

Mar. 7, 7-9 pm - Infant Crying and Sleeping @ Daystar Center

Infant crying and sleeping - we’re here to help!  Join NPN and infant experts from Erikson Institute Fussy Baby Network® at the Daystar Center for help in developing strategies for crying and sleeping that make sense for you and your baby.  Getting a handle on infant crying and sleeping can be a challenge, especially when you are sleep deprived and feeling stressed.  You are not alone!

The Fussy Baby Network provides help to parents who are struggling with their infant's crying, sleeping and feeding during the first year of life. They offer Warmline telephone support and home visits in English and Spanish. Their infant specialists work with parents to find more ways to soothe, care for and enjoy their baby.  RSVP today.

Want to get involved and help us plan for events for families, please contact amy@npnparents.org.  See you soon!
