If these are questions that you have ever asked yourself or other parents, then we have the answers for you. In this workshop, we will explore all of the things that you need to know about preparing yourself and your child for Kindergarten in the city of Chicago. We will also explore the various philosophies of preschools and how that choice can affect your child's ability to gain admission into kindergarten. We will cover the basics of the different types of public and private schools, their admissions and testing policies, and what you can do now to prepare your child.

PREP, Primary Readiness Enrichment Program, is a comprehensive program dedicated to preparing both preschoolers and their parents for the application, testing and enrollment process for public and private schools in the city of Chicago.
Through a series of information sessions, we provide parents with the tools necessary to maximize their
child’s success in gaining admission into the school of their choice. Our parent seminars are designed to empower parents and provide invaluable information on educational options for their children in the city of Chicago.We also offer a 12-week Student Session which helps prepare young students to perform their best on standardized tests for admission into the kindgergarten programs in both CPS Selective Enrollment Elementary Schools and private schools. At PREP we do not teach the test. We teach fundamental concepts and provide test taking skills that will allow your child’s natural abilities to shine through and lay a foundation for learning that will last a lifetime.

The site enables parents to search, book and review trusted sitters within minutes. Here’s how it works: Parents sign up for UrbanSitter using Facebook Connect and can view sitters known through friends or affiliations—including schools, sports teams and parents groups—and can view each sitter’s availability in order to select a sitter for a specific date and time, or plan an outing when they know their favorite sitter is available.
