Resources for Reducing, Recycling and Reusing Kid Stuff
Kids need stuff. Correction: Kids need A LOT of stuff: diapers, formula, gear, toys, clothes, shoes, safety equipment and so much more. But what do you do with all that stuff when your little one is done with it? Bring your own lunch and join us as we hear about resources for reducing, reusing and recycling the kid stuff in your household.
And as an added bonus, you can get rid of some of your stuff right at this meeting! Bring in like-new baby clothes you don't need anymore and our presenter, Sharon Schneider of Good Karma Clothing for Kids, will buy it, with all proceeds applied to your first month's subscription to Good Karma OR donated to benefit NPN.
Good Karma Clothing for Kids is a "shared wardrobe" subscription service that provides busy moms with right sized baby clothes delivered right to their door—so they don’t have to spend a fortune keeping up with fast growing little bodies. Good Karma delivers bundles of like-new, hand-selected clothing on request, washed in environmentally- and baby-friendly detergent, at prices beginning at $27.99 a month. When baby hits a growth spurt, parents simply send the clothes back in the reusable, pre-paid shipping bag, and are delivered a new Bundle in the next size up within days. We reuse what we can and upcycle anything that is in less than perfect condition into baby bibs, baby quilts and other products. It’s the perfect trifecta for busy parents: save time, save money and save the planet.
