Outdoor Movie Night (Toy Story) @ Our Outdoor Cinema

Welcome movie fans to the 2012 Outdoor Movie Season!

Our third feature film of the season is one of the best, and one of the first, from Pixar Studios. In July - we go to Infinity and Beyond!

The lawn space will open a few hours before show time for people to spread out their picnic blankets, mingle with their friends and neighbors, and grab a bite to eat.  At approx 6:30pm, we grill out and BBQ for a few hours while we wait for dusk. We'll supply brats, hot dogs, soda, water, and tons of good candy movie (watch out - the Swedish Fish go fast).  All of the grill food, soda, candy, and, of course, an unbelievably large amount of buttered popcorn are on the house!

Please note: the grill food usually runs out by 7:30 - so people are encouraged to bring their own spread as well.

For this movie - we'll even have some "Toy Story" Pez dispensers.... get excited.

The events are BYOBlankets and BYOB.

At dusk, we fire up the industrial sized popcorn machine, the lawn speakers, and the projector to start the show. Sunset in June is around 8:30 when we'll start the movie.

Please note, the $6 charge will be for each adult attending the movie. Kids (under 13) are free. (This entrance fee will help us cover the cost of each month's movie license from the studios). There is no separate purchase price for food.

We've got a great location in Ravenswood for our outdoor cinema.  Ravenswood Elementary School has allowed us to use their parking lot - so no problems hunting for a space! The movie itself will be on the large lawn space of Bethany Church - 4250 North Paulina Street. If you have a folding chair you'd like to use on the lawn rather than a blanket, there's room for those as well (though the screen is elevated so you should be able to see either way).
