This new Home Buyers & Sellers Forum will address these and other important, and at times mysterious, questions facing people who are in the process of selling and/or purchasing a home, or are preparing to purchase their first home. Join NPN and our experienced panel as we discuss the ins and outs of: searching for a school; marketing a home for sale and searching for a new home; qualifying for a mortgage; contract review and home inspection; title review; and closing.

Zach Rustad is an attorney with over 10 years of experience representing and counseling home buyers and sellers in and around Chicago. Zach and his wife are NPN members who have two young children and live in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.
Tom Merritt runs a residential mortgage branch of Anderson Financial Group, a boutique mortgage bank in Chicago and specializes in working with individuals & families to obtain financing for the purchase or refinance of their homes, condos, second homes or investment properties. Tom and his wife live in Lakeview with their 2 boys and are members of NPN.
Neil Hackler is a Residential Realtor with Chicago Real Estate Resources. He works with buyers and sellers around Chicago. Honesty, experience, & knowledge are his methods to helping clients buy and sell the right properties.
Tom Brown is a web developer, owner of a real estate brokerage, and developed SchoolSparrow.com that integrates school performance data, attendance boundaries, and real estate MLS listings so that users can rank schools by several metrics, then focus on homes they can afford in the actual attendance boundaries of the schools of choice.
