Join the multiples group for some outside play time and a free Laura Doherty concert. We will meet at the North playground of Welles Park and spend some time at the playground before heading over to Sulzer Regional Library to enjoy one of the Healthy Beats concerts featuring Parent's Choice award-winning musician Laura Doherty. If your multiples aren't ready for the playground, there will also be room to spread some blankets out in the grass nearby.

Healthy Beats: A Family Music Program for Active Kids & Parents
This upbeat, interactive concert will have kids singing and dancing along to Laura's catchy folk-pop tunes that focus on eating healthy and being active. Laura's original songs like "Farmer's Market" and "Vegetable Party" explore fresh foods at your local farmer's market, or the ones you grow in your own backyard! Get movin' and groovin' with Laura's "El Train" and "Hula Hoop" song, and tappin' and clappin' with some familiar hometown favorites, including "Sweet Home Chicago".
For 13 years Laura has taught Wiggleworms, Chicago's largest early-childhood music program, at the Old Town School of Folk Music. She has released two children's CDs: "Shining Like a Star" (2011), and Parent's Choice award-winning "Kids in the City"(2009). She also co-produced Old Town School's "Wiggleworms Love You" CD (2005).
