Start discipline off right by taking the "no" out

When my children were in preschool, it seemed I was always one step behind my kids when it came to discipline.

"No jumping on the couch!” “Stop fighting!” and  “Put your brother down!!!” My kids always seemed to have a "reason" for their misbehavior,  ie., "I’m not jumping", "he started it", and "he likes it".

Helping Moms Find Work/Life Balance Options

I love my work. I love being a mom. But being a working mom is not without its challenges (as every working mama knows).

I found myself struggling with the expectation to give 100% at work and 100% at home. I knew there had to be a better way to find a synthesis between my work life and personal life. Wha...

Hiring a Personal Trainer- Tips for improving your work out

It’s Monday morning.  You wake up at 6am to prepare yourself for the day.  It’s now 6:45am and you have to wake your kids up, get them dressed, feed them breakfast, and walk them to the bus stop.  Now all that you have to do is jump on the train and get to work by 8:45am.  Oh, and you have to actually work until 5:30pm tonight.  What’s for dinner?  Oh right, it’s your turn to make dinner tonight.  Mondays can be rough, and so can every day of the week for that matter.
